LOS
ALTOS, CA January 16, 2002 ... FreeHand Systems, Inc. announces
the addition of Jung-Ho Pak, Artistic Director and Principal Conductor
of the San Diego Symphony and Music Director of the New Haven Symphony
Orchestra, to the Technical Advisory Board of the company. Mr. Pak
adds his expertise to the group and will be advising the company
on issues related to product development and product implementation
with symphonies throughout the world.
Jung-Ho
Pak is described by the New York Times as a conductor who "radiates
enthusiasm," by the Los Angeles Times as "a real grabber," and by
the San Diego Union-Tribune as one of the most "impactful people
to watch" in 1998 and 1999. He is recognized as an influential musical
figure in the United States.
"He
is essential to the adaptation of our products to enhance the symphonic
experience and lend valuable insight into the world of classical
music performers," says Mike Hamilton, CEO.
Freehand
Systems is introducing its revolutionary, patented, product
the MusicPad Pro, at the National Association Music Merchants (NAMM)
Show in Anaheim, CA, January 17-20th and has been taking orders
for its February production run. The MusicPad Pro allows musicians
to store up to 10,000 pages of music, "markup" or annotate music
electronically by means of a stylus and touch screen display and
save those edits for future reference. Combined with a desktop or
laptop computer and the software Freehand provides, musicians are
able to input sheet music from scanners, the Internet or music composition
programs, and translate them into the MusicPad PRO format for viewing.
