Charles
Koppelman Joins FreeHand Systems, Expanding IP/Music Publishing
Efforts.

ALTOS, Calif. – October 18, 2006 –FreeHand Systems,
Inc., wholly owned subsidiary of FreeHand Systems International,
Inc. (OTC:FSYI), announced today that it has retained Charles Koppelman
as a consultant to the CEO and that he will be joining the company’s
Board of Directors in the near future. Mr. Koppelman will advise
the CEO on all aspects of the company’s efforts to acquire
IP and print rights for sheet music. In addition, he will provide
his expertise as the company expands its efforts internationally.

of sheet music.
Charles
Koppelman is Chairman of the Board of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia,
Inc. (NYSE:MSO) and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CAK
Entertainment, Inc., a music and entertainment business. He has
enjoyed a distinguished career in the music and entertainment industry
where he began, in 1960, as a musician.
Mr.
Koppelman has worked with some of the most popular recording artists
during his 37 years in the music publishing industry. Beginning
in 1965, he signed the Lovin’ Spoonful and convinced Bobby
Darin to record the song “If I Were a Carpenter.” He
has also produced songs for Glen Campbell, Dolly Parton, Paul Anka,
Cher, Barbara Streisand, and the Four Tops. In the mid 80s, he discovered
and promoted Tracy Chapman, Wilson Phillips, Vanilla Ice, and Arrested
Development. From 1988 to 1997, Mr. Koppelman served first as Chairman
and CEO of EMI Music Publishing and then as Chairman and CEO of
EMI Records Group, North America.
