RICK WAKEMAN, WORLD RENOWN KEYBOARD PLAYER FOR THE ROCK GROUP YES, JOINS ADVISORY BOARD OF FREEHAND SYSTEMS

Wakeman to provide product development and design direction for the MusicPad Pro™, the company’s flagship digital sheet music personal computer tablet

LOS ALTOS, Calif. – Dec. 9, 2002 – FreeHand Systems, Inc., developer, manufacturer, and marketer of the MusicPad Pro®, the world’s first digital sheet music personal computer tablet, announced today that Rick Wakeman, the internationally known keyboard player for the ground-breaking rock group, YES, has joined the company’s Advisory Board.

Christmas Variations and Out of the Blue have been re-released recently with new covers. Out There, a new studio album, will debut in January.

The MusicPad Pro is a personal computer tablet with a touch screen interface that enables users to store, display and annotate music. With the capacity to hold thousands of pages of music, the MusicPad Pro creates a paperless environment -- users can download and store music using a Mac or PC.
