SALES GROWTH EFFORTS
Sally
Shreve appointed Vice President Sales, Linda Cole hired as Director
of Sales and Dana Schroeder re-focuses on push into the music education
market.

ALTOS, Calif. – May 11, 2004 – Freehand Systems, Inc.,
announced today that it has hired Sally Shreve as Vice President
Sales and Linda Cole as Director of Sales. In addition Dana Schroeder
will now focus her efforts on the company’s growing business
in music education. “This expansion of our sales team places
Freehand in a strong position to expand its sales to music educators
and to aggressively grow our retail channel, plus it strengthens
our company for future sales growth,” said Kim Lorz, CEO.
FreeHand Systems is a privately-held company with the mission of
reinventing how musicians read and perform music, as the world leader
in digital music technology and the largest distributor of digital
sheet music song titles.
After
two years overseeing FreeHand's sales efforts, Dana Schroeder will
now focus her attention on the education market a major concentration
for the company. She will be responsible for the integration of
the company’s lead product – the MusicPad Pro into the
Music Expressions curriculum of its education partner, Warner Bros.
Publications. She will be working with over 40 sales representatives
currently selling Music Expressions to schools in all 50 states.
Sally
Shreve is joining FreeHand Systems as Vice President Sales with
responsibility for sales of products domestically and internationally.
Sally has over 20 years of sales and sales management experience
with AT&T and Lucent Technologies. She has demonstrated success
in building direct sales teams as well as developing new channels
of distribution. She was responsible for growing AT&T’s
Northern California $150M Business Communications Products business
by 42%. She has successfully run the P/L for a $50M business with
10% EBITDA.
Linda
Cole has been hired as Director of Sales and will operate out of
the company’s office in Denver, Colorado. Linda is a sales
and sales management professional with extensive business development,
marketing and sales experience in the high-tech industry. She has
been successful in sales and sales management roles at T2 Technologies
and Lucent Technologies. Ms. Cole has successfully managed accounts
in both the private and government sectors. She has experience in
developing channels and has excelled in direct sales in the telecommunications
industry.
